This role offers the opportunity to design and build critical software systems that support large-scale manufacturing and operations. You will take ownership of key features across warehouse management, procurement, and operational workflows, working in a fast-paced, high-impact environment. The position involves designing APIs, building integrations, and delivering end-to-end solutions that directly enable operational efficiency and scalability. You will collaborate with domain experts, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams while navigating changing requirements and ambiguity. This role allows for continuous ownership of production systems and the chance to shape technology that powers multi-billion-dollar operations. The environment values clean code, reliability, and pragmatic decision-making, all within a remote-first team with periodic on-site collaboration.

Accountabilities:

  • Design, build, test, deploy, and operate software features end-to-end
  • Write clean, maintainable Python and React code, participating in peer code reviews
  • Build APIs and integrations between systems, including ERP and warehouse management workflows
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and domain experts to translate business processes into technical solutions
  • Contribute to system design decisions and architecture discussions
  • Monitor, debug, and resolve production issues to improve system reliability and performance
  • Adapt to changing requirements, prioritize tasks effectively, and work in a fast-moving, dynamic environment
  • Requirements:

    • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
    • Strong Python programming skills and production-level React experience
    • Experience building and shipping production applications on AWS
    • Knowledge of API design, integration patterns, and system interoperability
    • Ability to work independently in a remote-first environment and make pragmatic technical decisions
    • Strong written communication skills for documenting decisions and collaborating asynchronously
    • Availability for periodic travel (~1 week per quarter) for planning and stakeholder engagement
    • Preferred Qualifications:

      • Experience with ERP, WMS, supply chain, or procurement systems
      • Background in manufacturing, logistics, or recycling industries
      • Familiarity with event-driven architecture or workflow orchestration
      • Enthusiasm for AI-assisted development and scrappy problem-solving
      • Experience working on distributed engineering teams
      • Benefits:

        • Competitive compensation based on experience
        • Remote-first work environment with occasional on-site collaboration
        • Opportunities to work on high-impact systems supporting large-scale operations
        • Collaborative, mission-driven culture with emphasis on ownership and innovation
        • Exposure to cutting-edge operational and supply chain software
