Senior Software Engineer - Quantitative Trading

What You'll Do

• Design develop and optimize scalable extensible trading applications and deploy successful enterprise-level applications that can be leveraged across a variety of asset classes  
• Maintain support and troubleshoot real-time critical trading applications 
• Work with team members to ensure that our software meets requirements and is testable 
• Analyze and solve complex technical problems  
• Improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our development process and reduce operational risk 
• Apply industry knowledge and technical skills in new and innovative ways 
• Encourage the use of best practices throughout the development process 
• Participate in code review    

What You'll Need

• 6+ years of software development experience 
• Solid working experience in modern C++ 
• Applies and holds high-quality standard for code and design 
• Experience building high performance highly available and scalable systems 
• Well versed in all areas of delivering technical solutions 
• Shows ownership through entrepreneurial spirit 
• Ability to take full ownership (design implement test deploy maintain iterate) of projects 
• Strong written and verbal communication skills 
• Show ownership through entrepreneurial spirit 
• Willingness to coach junior engineers in addition to teaching and learning from peers  

Nice to Have

• Experience with financial market concepts including options trading and engineering
