Job Description

Team: IT

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Solutions Architect, Commercial - SF based in United States.

The Senior Solutions Architect will play a critical role in supporting a high-velocity commercial sales motion, guiding technical evaluations and driving adoption across both new and existing customers in a consumption-based model. You will act as a trusted technical advisor to developers, architects, and engineering leaders, helping them understand how to integrate and scale a distributed workflow platform within complex systems. This role blends deep technical expertise with customer-facing responsibilities, requiring strong pre-sales capabilities and hands-on engineering credibility. You will design and deliver tailored proofs of concept, demos, and enablement sessions that demonstrate real-world value and accelerate customer adoption. A significant part of your impact will come from expanding existing accounts by identifying new use cases and driving deeper platform utilization. This is a fast-paced, highly technical, and highly collaborative role suited for someone who thrives in ambiguity and enjoys working at the intersection of product, engineering, and sales.

Accountabilities:

  • Partner with Account Executives throughout the full sales cycle to qualify opportunities, run technical evaluations, and drive expansion within existing customer accounts.
  • Lead deep technical discussions with engineers, architects, and technical leaders to understand system architecture, constraints, and business requirements.
  • Design and deliver tailored demos and proof-of-concept solutions that demonstrate how the platform solves real-world orchestration and distributed systems challenges.
  • Support customer onboarding and adoption through technical enablement sessions and best-practice guidance for scalable implementation.
  • Create reusable technical assets, templates, and reference architectures to accelerate sales cycles and improve team efficiency.
  • Act as a technical advisor internally, enabling sales teams on product fundamentals, positioning, and qualification strategies.
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Developer Success teams to relay customer insights and influence product direction.
  • Manage multiple concurrent prospects and customers, balancing urgent deal support with long-term strategic account development.
  • Requirements:

    • Strong software engineering background with hands-on experience in at least one modern programming language such as Go, Java, Python, or TypeScript.
    • Deep understanding of distributed systems principles, including reliability, fault tolerance, scalability, and observability.
    • Proven experience in a customer-facing technical role such as Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, or Pre-Sales Engineer within a SaaS or developer-focused company.
    • Strong ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Experience working with cloud-native architectures and familiarity with modern infrastructure environments.
    • Comfort operating in fast-paced, high-ambiguity environments with strong prioritization and time management skills.
    • Enthusiasm for AI, orchestration systems, and emerging technologies such as LLM-powered or agentic workflows.
    • Bonus: experience with workflow engines, event-driven systems, or platforms such as Temporal, Cadence, Kafka, or similar technologies.
    • Benefits:

      • Competitive base salary with variable compensation and equity participation.
      • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance with full premium coverage for employees.
      • Unlimited PTO plus paid holidays and additional floating holidays.
      • 401(k) retirement plan with employer contributions.
      • Remote-first flexibility with occasional travel for team gatherings and company events.
      • Annual allowances for home office setup, internet reimbursement, wellness, and professional development.
      • Learning and development support, including access to training, certifications, and professional memberships.
      • Strong engineering-driven culture with opportunities to work on cutting-edge distributed systems technology.
