Role Responsibilities
As the Senior Technical Product Manager for Optimal Dynamics' customer-facing SaaS applications, you will be responsible for defining a product strategy and roadmap for our front-end customer experiences that are scalable, extensible, and support Optimal Dynamics' growth. Our SaaS applications deliver intuitive B2B2C workflows and actionable insights from our bleeding-edge AI/ML-based optimization engine. You will be part of a dynamic, well-funded, rapid-growth company. You will have the opportunity to be a thought leader, working with industry-leading data scientists and engineers to deliver significant impact to Optimal Dynamics and our fast-growing customer base.Â
This role reports directly to the Chief Product Officer and will work closely with the Engineering leadership team.
What you will own/do
- You will collaborate closely with other Customer/Market-Facing Product Managers, AI/ML Product Managers, and UX Designers to build engaging, intuitive user experiences and workflows, including data visualization and analysis tools
- You will be responsible for gathering and synthesizing product requirements from across our portfolio of products. You will own building and executing a product roadmap that efficiently delivers continuous user experience improvements and new features/functionalityÂ
- You will partner with Engineering to build âhorizontalâ scalable and extensible components, services, and capabilities via internal APIs, microservices, etc. You will continually contribute to and expand our Global Services and Components Platforms and LibrariesÂ
- You will focus primarily on the Product Development stage of the product life cycle. You will lead and manage the roadmap for multiple Squads of Front End and Back End Engineers, and partner with other Product Managers to launch and drive adoption of new products/features
- You will partner closely with and manage a broad set of key stakeholders, including other Product Managers, UX Designers, Engineering Directors and Managers, Data Scientists, and Optimal Dynamicâs Executive Leadership team
Key Skills
- Deep technical product management experience delivering highly extensible User Experiences built via internal APIs, microservices, etc.  Â
- Technical Fundamentals. You have a strong grasp of Front End Engineering concepts and have lead/partnered closely with Front End Engineering teams
- Experience collaborating with Data Centric Teams to develop B2B SaaS productsÂ
- Thought Leadership, Vision & Execution. Working back from our customersâ needs, you can build horizontal, platform-level Front End capabilities/features that scale and are highly extensible. You can partner with Product and Engineering leadership to craft a product vision, strategy, and roadmap
- Prioritization. You have the ability to align multiple, cross-functional stakeholders by providing roadmap options and trade-offs to ensure we are always prioritizing the most impactful opportunities, and delivering the most value to customers
- Leadership and Communication. You have the ability to influence and work collaboratively with technical and non-technical team members, up to and including the executive-level
- Cross-Functional Collaboration. You are a great collaborator biased toward action, and are an excellent simplifier, constantly pushing toward clarity and delivery

Qualifications
- 5-7+ years in a Product Management role; 4+ years of Technical Product Management experience
- Expertise in building B2C or B2B2C user experiences (i.e., building B2B products that are used by humans)
- Experience building âhorizontalâ global, platform-level capabilities/servicesÂ
- Experience building B2B SaaS products
- Experience with agile developmentÂ
Nice to have
- Experience leveraging contract-driven design principles when working with multiple technical teams to execute a solution
- Product development experience that involved leveraging distributed systems and microservice architecture patterns
- Experience building AI/ML-backed B2B or B2C productsÂ
- Experience with Feature Flags (LaunchDarkly), AWS QuickSight, and Event-driven Architecture
- Previous experience in trucking, transportation, supply chain, or logistics industries

Salary:
- $170,000-190,000 base
