The position combines technical investigation, automation, intelligence analysis, and cross-functional collaboration.

Accountabilities:

As a Senior Threat Intelligence Engineer, you will be responsible for developing intelligence capabilities, improving security visibility, and enabling proactive decision-making across the organization. You will combine technical expertise, analytical thinking, and automation skills to strengthen threat detection and response processes.

  • Monitor the evolving threat landscape and identify risks most relevant to the organization, customers, and software supply chain.
  • Produce actionable intelligence reports, including rapid assessments and strategic insights to support security decisions.
  • Manage and enhance Threat Intelligence Platform capabilities, including intelligence collection pipelines, threat feeds, and integrations.
  • Conduct adversary research using OSINT techniques and structured analytical methodologies.
  • Support incident response activities through malware analysis, threat actor tracking, and investigative research.
  • Collaborate on security exercises designed to validate defensive capabilities and improve resilience.
  • Develop automation solutions using Python, AI tools, and scripting to improve operational efficiency.
  • Build and maintain relationships with industry peers and intelligence-sharing communities.
  • Establish best practices, workflows, and reusable processes to continuously mature threat intelligence operations.
  • Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and product teams to improve overall organizational security posture.
  • Requirements:

    The ideal candidate is an experienced security professional with strong threat intelligence expertise, technical capabilities, and the ability to communicate complex findings clearly. You should be comfortable working independently while collaborating with global teams and applying automation and AI to security workflows.

    • Proven experience delivering actionable threat intelligence that has influenced security decisions and improved organizational protection.
    • Hands-on experience managing Threat Intelligence Platforms (TIPs), including ingesting, analyzing, and exporting threat feeds.
    • Strong knowledge of OSINT research techniques, adversary tracking, and structured threat analysis.
    • Experience writing automation scripts or programs, preferably using Python.
    • Ability to analyze security threats, investigate attacker behavior, and communicate findings effectively.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical topics to different audiences.
    • Experience using AI-assisted security or engineering tools responsibly, with awareness of security, privacy, bias, and traceability considerations.
    • Experience building automation workflows and integrating security tools through APIs is a plus.
    • Familiarity with malware analysis, especially macOS and Linux threats or malware delivered through code repositories, is beneficial.
    • Experience contributing to security research, open-source projects, technical blogs, or industry communities is a plus.
    • Ability to work effectively in a remote, globally distributed environment with flexible collaboration hours.
