Job Description
Opendoor Treasury is at the heart of enabling Opendoor to transact billions of dollars each year to purchase, finance and sell our homes. This team is responsible for establishing, maintaining and improving our banking relationships and products, optimizing our investment portfolio in line with our policy, collaborating with our Financial Platform team to develop and implement technology-driven solutions and partnering with our Capital Markets team to manage our cash balances in order to meet home purchasing needs and meet lender requirements. We’re seeking a Treasury Senior manager to lead our existing team and support our dynamic business!
Role Responsibilities:- Mentor and develop a team of 3 Treasury Analysts and Senior Analysts
- Complete the migration (~70% complete) from Wells Fargo and Bank of America to JP Morgan Chase
- Manage all banking relationships and fees in the US, Canada and India - Ensure appropriate products and protections are in place
- Oversee bank account management (including account opening/closing, access, wire entitlements, etc.)
- Collaborate with various teams, including Capital Markets, Accounts Payable, Finance & Strategy and Accounting to understand their processes and requirements; Partner with these teams to identify and implement solutions and refine existing processes
- Partner with our Financial Platform team to develop and implement technology-driven solutions
- Manage daily liquidity - maintain appropriate cash balances in respective bank accounts to meet home purchasing needs and lender requirements
- Maintain a SOX compliant Treasury control environment
- Manage investment portfolio and seek opportunities in line with the investment policy
- Control credit card programs (provider selection, account authorization, credit limits, etc.)
- Support ad hoc domestic and international wire transfer requests
- Bachelor’s Degree in business, finance, or accounting required
- Minimum of 8 years of treasury experience, including 3 or more years successfully managing a team

- The ability to develop strong relationships across the organization, as well as with external stakeholders
- Must have good verbal, written, and presentation skills to articulate ideas and plans clearly, accurately, and effectively with all stakeholders
- A high degree of ethics and professionalism with the ability to handle confidential information
- Experience leading a treasury function in a SOX compliant environment
- Experience working at/with real estate or escrow companies
Compensation:
Remote roles in the US: The pay range for this position in Colorado, Connecticut, Washington, and New Jersey is $164,000 - $253,000 yr, and in California and New York City is $164,000 - $253,000 yr. Compensation may vary depending on relevant experience, skills, geographic location, and business needs. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, 12 paid holidays per year, medical/dental/vision insurance, basic life insurance, and 401(k) to eligible employees.
Remote roles in the US are available in all states EXCEPT Hawaii, Alaska, Montana, or any US Territories.
