Senior UX Researcher

As a Senior UX Researcher you will be responsible for researching and validating our product and player journeys. You’ll use a variety of methods to engage with our customers, such as observations, user testing, surveys, and other research methods, and work closely with our product and product design teams to turn your findings into actionable design solutions. As such, you’ll get exposure to projects from early conceptualization and discovery through to live-product testing. You will utilize design-thinking, product strategy and brand to create exceptional experiences and features across the Fantasy and Sportsbook products.

As the first-ever UX Researcher at Underdog, you will have the opportunity to work off the ground and establish how we as a company define “product research.”

• Lead strategic research initiatives to identify future optimizations and enhancements
• Work closely with product and design partners to deeply understand issues related to our players’ experience, and advocate research findings into workable solutions
• Establish the foundation for Underdog’s research team
• Collect and analyze user behavior through studies, ethnography, surveys, benchmark studies, server logs and online experiments (A/B testing)
• Build empathy for our players across the company
• Collaborate and contribute to a world-class design team through knowledge shares, critiques and workshops
• Ensure #SportsAreForEveryone

• 3+ years of experience in end-to-end product design research for native mobile and web applications 
• High frequency problem solver who is effective in situations with limited information, building a solution from concept and communicating it to stakeholders
• Comfortable providing feedback and recommendations on product solutions
• A humbled, motivated individual constantly geared to ship the most ideal solution and experience for the end user and their goals
