We are looking for a passionate, detail-driven and result-oriented ServiceNow Developer to join our team in India.

The Team:

With our in-house Enterprise IT Applications team we are building a single user experience for our Internal customers. At G-P, the team works closely with IT Cloud Services, Operations, Legal, InfoSec & others across the organization.

What you can expect to do:

Aside from communicating with shareholders to develop technical projects, the successful ServiceNow Developer will be responsible (but not limited to):

  • Develop tooling and automations within the ServiceNow platform to manage Enterprise IT and Business team’s processes.
  • Formulating and implementing quality assurance (QA) methods. Plan and execute unit, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, resolve and report issues related to the servicenow instance.
  • Ensure tools, automations, services, and policies comply with appropriate security and compliance regulations and constraints.
  • Work with internal customers and partner teams to provide strategic, scalable applications that meet or exceed the internal customers’ current needs.
  • Setting IT practice standards. Will be responsible for determining IT best practices and improving existing methods.
  • Designing and developing configurations and code. Customize and integrate with other Application platforms to deliver functionality as per requirements.
  • Provide your input and opinions on project direction, solutions design, and team policies; as well as write code and documentation.
  • Maintain and manage Sandbox instances to ensure changes and fixes would follow the required change management processes.

What we’re looking for:

Technical Skills

  • 5+ years of experience supporting and developing in the ServiceNow platform and ability to execute and build components.
  • Rapidly build, test, and deploy applications that make work better for your organization
  • Ability to program in JavaScript
  • Knowledge of ITSM, ITOM and ITAM frameworks.
  • Understanding of CMDB
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS and XML
  • Web development tools and techniques like .NET and AJAX
  • Broad understanding of Governance, Risk, and Compliance
  • Automation Engine / Automation hub experience.
  • Experience with Integration hub. Experience with other iPaaS tools (like Workato) , desirable.
  • Experience of development using Employee Center PRO is desirable.
  • Experience with Cloud applications such as: Atlassian, Zendesk, Automation, Microsoft suite & Google components desirable.
  • Be able to troubleshoot technical issues with ease.

Non-Technical Skills

  • Ability to understand stakeholder needs and difficulties amongst the business operations and help to problem-solve by providing solutions and execution.
  • Understand requirements to successful accomplish requests and be able to project manage.
