Position: SharePoint admin/developer
Location: Remote - San Antonio, TX.
Duration: 6 Months - With ExtensionÂ
SharePoint and Office 365 Developer/Administrator
We are currently seeking a SharePoint Online Developer/Administrator. This position will perform hands-on tasks to manage and maintain our SharePoint tenants and related technologies and maintain sites hosted primarily in SharePoint Online/Office 365. This position will be responsible for configuring and customizing SharePoint system according to specifications, building scalable web applications, writing and modifying code, and debugging software.Â
This position will report to the Manager, Data Center.
Responsibilities:
• Provide administration of the following tools: Teams, OneDrive, Exchange, SharePoint, and others in the O365 Suite.
• Managing and migrating legacy SharePoint on-premise farms.
• End User support of complex SharePoint issues.
• Manage and maintain external guest (non-employee) user access to SharePoint systems.
• Monitor and manage SharePoint system security to prevent attacks, data loss, etc.
• Perform daily site creation tasks, MACs involving permissions/site access, etc.
• Record and communicate to stakeholders the performance of the services.
• Ensure service delivery meets the business requirements (based on defined SLAs).
• Serve as the SharePoint Subject Matter Expert for internal and external clients.
• Stay informed of changes to SharePoint Online functionality that can impact Tetra Tech or its clients.
• Deliver a consistent process for incident and problem escalation and resolution in line with the sourcing governance framework.
• Collaborate and resource with other IT staff to facilitate effective issue resolution.
• Regularly update documentation of SharePoint infrastructure.
• Work alongside customer’s O365 team to develop best practices for governance and settings for the various tools in the enterprise.
• Provide advanced level troubleshooting, as needed, to support service desk tickets for end users.
Requirements:
• 5+ years of experience with onsite SharePoint environment administration and customization.
• 2+ years of SharePoint Online and Office 365 administration experience.
