Social Media Specialist

Rush Street Interactive, an operator of real-money casino and sportsbook sites, seeks a Social Media Specialist to join our growing marketing team. The primary function of this position will be to prepare and distribute social media content.

Essential Responsibilities: 

-     Identify, curate, and create engaging social media casino content that drives growth across multiple channels
-    Coordinate a social media schedule with the manager for content distribution
-    Ideate and deploy relevant casino content to engage RSI’s target audience
-    Coordinate creative production where appropriate with internal stakeholders
-    Schedule content across several channels and add media to content repositories
-    Report on recent activity to highlight organic results
-    Monitor endorser accounts to highlight their content as necessary
-    Analyze competitive and trending data

Required Knowledge and Skills:

-    Minimum of 2 years of experience in a social media/digital marketing role in the gaming industry
-    Highly organized and able to handle concurrent tasks
-    Understanding of the online gaming industry, casino game categories, related vocabulary, and the ability to speak and write on them for social media consumption
-    Ability to focus on tasks in a fast-paced environment
-    Can independently and proactively identify and act on content production opportunities to grow social media platforms
-    Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Premiere experience in photo/video/audio editing considered strong plus
-    Preferred knowledge of video and audio streaming platforms
Top-notch written skills with the ability to represent a variety of brand voices on the fly and with little oversight
