Summary:

The Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) will provide direct services to patients and families coping with acute or chronic medical conditions within the Genetic Oncology Clinic. Responsible for providing comprehensive psychosocial assessments, case management/discharge planning, clinical therapy, information and referral linkage all aimed at providing support to maintain the functional behavior of children and families.

Hours/Location: Part-time position / 2 days per week

Qualifications:

  • MSW or MSSW from an accredited school.
  • LCSW Licensure with the state of Texas.
  • Experience working with children/adolescents and families preferred.
  • Experience working in a hospital or clinic setting preferred.
  • Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for Health Care Providers within 30 days of employment.
