Job Description:

As a member of our team, you will work with Designers, Product Owners and Domain Technical Leads building new experiences and improving existing products, developing robust software solutions and dependable products for PayPal’s merchants and consumer. You’ll estimate engineering efforts, prioritize projects, plan implementations, and triage production issues. You need to be dynamic, collaborative and curious, as you’ll work in a fast-paced environment where continuous experimentation and innovation are a given.

Responsibilities

Write clean, solid and testable code while keeping the user experience fast and reliable

Make key technical decisions to develop and deliver scalability

Design and implementation of highly available and performant applications to meet business-critical SLAs

Effectively collaborate with multiple teams and stakeholders including product and design

Build the optimal design and model for the UI

Deliver code in an Agile software development using test-driven development methodologies.

Participate in development life cycle activities like design, coding, testing and production release.

Define and steward technical standards and quality with fellow Engineers

* Conduct peer code reviews for pull requests
