Job Description
The Airbyte UI team owns Airbyte’s web frontend, which is the main interface used to configure and inspect your ETL pipelines and data integration happening via Airbyte.
The UI plays a crucial role in onboarding and enabling new users, as well as giving all users the ability to gain insights and supporting them keeping their data integrations running day by day.
As an engineer on the team, you will define the future of the UI, contribute to Airbyte’s growth by improving the user experience and usability, and extend and improve the product to become the leading data integration platform.
You’ll work with a tech-stack based on TypeScript and React, talking to Airbyte’s platform written in Java.
- Drive project design and build Airbyte's UI.
- Guide product decisions and the team roadmap with engineering perspective.
- Engage with the open-source community via events, Slack, or pull requests.
- Evaluate and increase user experience of the product.
- Help make the product the open-source standard in ETL.
- 4+ years of software engineering experience. Hiring at all experienced levels!
- Proficiency writing frontends in TypeScript
- Experience writing production-quality React application
- Excited to work remotely
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A passion for continuous learning and improvement (both at a personal and team level)
