$55000 / year + Bonus

JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about technology product development and can thrive in a fast-paced environment to support the growth of our Content Management and Workflow System serving insurance industry. We are looking for a Software Engineer to build new capabilities and apply modern design patterns to our content management product.
Core Requirements and Responsibilities:

Work with colleagues and technical resources to define technical solutions that meet business requirements

Writes well-designed testable code

Participates in the design development testing and debugging of an application

Troubleshoots and ensures timely and effective resolutions of any project issue

Participates in code reviews both of your own code and as a reviewer

Provides feedback and suggestions for process and product improvement

Conducts technical research on new technology for possible new aspects of a product or components needing redesign or updating

Prepares product documentation support materials and internal documentation

The Professional Services (PS) and Customer Success (CX) bonus plans are a quarterly monetary bonus plan based upon individual and practice performance against specific business metrics. Eligibility is determined by several factors including: start date good standing in the company and actives status at time of payout.
The Vertafore Incentive Plan (VIP) is an annual monetary bonus for eligible employees based on both individual and company performance. Eligibility is determined by several factors including: start date good standing in the company and actives status at time of payout.
Commission plans are tailored to each sales role but common components include quota MBO's and ABPMs. Salespeople receive their formal compensation plan within 30 days of hire.
