As an SDET II you will own the design and implementation of automated testing solutions across features and services. You will play a key role in improving test frameworks increasing system reliability and driving quality best practices across the team.
This role is suited for engineers who can work independently contribute to system-level quality improvements and influence testing strategy. You’ll tackle hard testing problems eliminate flakiness influence architecture for testability and raise the quality bar across teams. If you love writing real code thinking in systems and instilling quality as a shared principle —this role is for you.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design implement and maintain scalable automated test solutions and/or tooling
Extend and improve test frameworks to enhance reliability maintainability and performance
Translate product requirements into comprehensive and effective test strategies
Ensure test code is clean reusable and aligned with engineering best practices
Quality EngineeringIdentify gaps in test coverage and proactively address them
Advocate for and implement best practices in testing and quality
Reduce flaky tests and improve CI/CD pipeline stability
Contribute to reducing technical debt in test infrastructure
Scoping & ExecutionIndependently scope plan and execute testing efforts for projects
Partner with engineering and product teams to ensure features are testable
Deliver high-quality test solutions with minimal oversight
Operational ExcellenceDebug complex issues across test and application layers
Instrument systems and tests to provide meaningful quality metrics
Collaborate cross-functionally to define and uphold quality standards
Communicate trade-offs between speed coverage and reliability
Share learnings and improvements with the broader team
Mentorship & InfluenceProvide guidance and code review feedback to other engineers
Contribute to team-wide improvements in testing practices and tooling
Help elevate overall quality standards within the team
Collaboration & Communication
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
2+ years of experience in software development test automation or related field
Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python or Java are a plus)
Experience with test automation frameworks and CI/CD systems (Appium is a plus)
