Software Engineer Manager - Mobile Engineering

We seek a Software Engineer Manager - Mobile Engineering to join our virtual team. If you have experience ensuring iOS and Android engineers have a very collaborative and productive relationship with each other, back end engineers, designers, test automation and devops in their cross functional teams, with experience in shipping on schedule and growing a team, and the challenge of scaling product success at a high performing Fintech-for-Good company sounds exciting, we would love to connect with you!  
 
You’ll get to:

• Manage our iOS and Android Engineering team - coach them, advocate for them, unblock them - basically make them happy and productive human beings. 
• Provide technical leadership to the engineers and be accountable for the technical decisions made on your team. 
• Ensure iOS and Android engineerings have a very collaborative and productive relationship with each other, back end engineers, designers, test automation and devops in their cross functional teams.  
• Ensure that iOS and Android features are shipped on schedule and coordinate between mobile engineering teams.  
• Grow, educate, hire, and retain a high-performing team with high delivery cadence in an agile environment. 
• Build of culture of engineering excellence with a focus on performance, scalability, privacy, and security.  

You should bring mad skills & experience:

• A love of being a people champion, great products and great design. 
• B.S. in C.S., C.E., E.E. or related STEM degree. 
• 5+ years of professional experience building Android or iOS applications.
• Past experience of planning, executing, and delivering projects with multiple engineers in an agile cross functional environment. 
• 5+ years of experience working across the full-stack. You don't need to have mastered any one side but understanding a spectrum of technologies at varying degrees of expertise is important. 
• 2+ years of people management experience.
