As a Software Engineer Manager within PNC's Enterprise Technology | CTO Engineering | EA Tools organization you will be based in Farmers Branch TX or Pittsburgh PA. Weekly time in the office is needed.
Some travel to Pittsburgh is required.
This position may not be available in all geographic areas.
Needed skills/experience:
People & project management are the primary skills required with experience delivering internally-developed software & supporting vendor technologies. Technical skills & experience with at least one of the following languages – C# .NET Python Ansible
Leads one or more software engineering crews responsible for delivering and supporting a portfolio of in-house developed and vendor-supported applications. Accountable for end-to-end delivery execution using Agile/SCRUM practices ensuring alignment to business priorities enterprise standards and risk controls. Drives consistent high-quality software delivery while balancing platform stability modernization and integration across internal and external solutions. Monitors and assesses team performance while providing career guidance championing mentorship & collaborative engineering practices.PNC is an in-office company that fosters a supportive culture where employees can thrive and achieve balance. - Manages development projects development teams and application support functions.
- Oversees multiple application programming and analysis projects which include development installation and maintenance of application programs.
- Monitors and maintains adherence and compliance to quality standards on an ongoing basis.
- Maximizes staff contribution through professional growth and development to increase teamwork and more effectively meet business needs.
- Analyzes applications to ensure that all systems that are developed meet business needs and specifications.

Skills Required
