Solutions Architect*

Location: Remote with some US travel (up to 10 trips per year)

Required Clearance: Public Trust

Certifications: Certified SAFe Architect (ARCH) or SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager

Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or other technical discipline

Required Experience: 8+ years of relevant experience

Position Description

PingWind is looking for a Solution Architect to provide oversight and support across a large product line. The architect will lead value stream discovery and documentation in coordination for each of the products assigned to the product line, collaborating with Solution Engineers and Technical Leads across the program.

Primary Responsibilities:

· Responsible for supporting elaboration of epics into features and stories and managing cross team risk and dependencies

· Provide a single source of truth regarding the intended and actual behavior of the solution

· Collaborate with customers to understand their needs, prioritize capabilities, create the Solution vision and roadmap, define requirements, and guide work through the product team

· Perform discovery and planning activities on existing solutions, dependent products, and internal and external business process flows and functions

· Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and how these map to capabilities.

· Develop As-is and To-be Architecture Models

· Collect available data, user feedback, and stakeholder feedback and capture in Discovery Reports, Logical Data Models, Business Process Models, etc.

· Develop current and correct Architecture Diagrams detailing the logical, network, and dataflow of the products

· Develop a Solution Level Roadmap, Solution Data Models and Business Cases

· Support early user interface and technical prototypes.

· Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and supporting definition of business metrics for Solution.

· Developing, refining, and elaborating Product Solution Backlogs.
