Solutions Architect Sênior

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Solutions Architect Sênior based in Brazil.

As a Senior Solutions Architect, you will lead the design and execution of complex API management and multicloud integration strategies that support large-scale digital transformation initiatives. This role is focused on defining robust, secure, and scalable architectures while guiding the migration of enterprise API platforms across cloud environments. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, influence key technical decisions, and ensure best practices across integration, security, observability, and automation. Working in a highly collaborative environment, you will help shape long-term architectural roadmaps and provide technical leadership throughout the entire migration lifecycle. • Lead the architecture and migration strategy for enterprise API Management platforms across multicloud environments, with an initial focus on migrating from Azure API Management to Google Cloud Apigee.
• Assess the current API landscape, including integrations, consumers, backend services, security policies, certificates, dependencies, and infrastructure.
• Design scalable target architectures and define migration, coexistence, rollout, rollback, and modernization strategies.
• Establish standards for API lifecycle management, versioning, security, authentication, authorization, observability, monitoring, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Evaluate connectivity, networking, routing, identity management, and performance across Azure, Google Cloud, and AWS environments when applicable.
• Define reusable API governance standards, including rate limiting, quotas, transformations, error handling, and security policies.
• Support MVP planning, technical validation, implementation, testing, and production readiness.
• Facilitate workshops and technical discussions across engineering, cloud, networking, security, DevOps, and operations teams.
• Document architectural decisions, identify risks and dependencies, validate solution designs, and mentor engineering teams throughout implementation.

Requirements

• Extensive experience as a Solutions Architect, Integration Architect, or API Architect within enterprise environments.
• Strong hands-on expertise with API Management platforms, including advanced knowledge of Azure API Management and Google Cloud Apigee (preferably Apigee X).
• Proven experience designing multicloud architectures and integrating services across Azure and Google Cloud Platform.
• Deep understanding of REST, HTTP, JSON, OpenAPI, SOAP, XML, and enterprise integration patterns.
• Solid knowledge of authentication and authorization technologies, including OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, JWKS, mTLS, and identity platforms such as Keycloak.
• Experience with API security policies, traffic management, routing, quotas, and transformation capabilities.
• Strong understanding of Kubernetes environments, including AKS, GKE, ingress controllers, service discovery, and load balancing.
• Experience with cloud networking concepts such as VPC, VNet, VPN, Private Service Connect, ExpressRoute, BGP, DNS, firewalls, and cloud connectivity.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (preferably Terraform), observability, logging, tracing, monitoring, and alerting.
• Ability to define non-functional requirements related to scalability, resilience, latency, security, and high availability.
• Excellent communication, documentation, stakeholder management, and technical leadership skills.
• Certifications in Google Cloud Platform or Microsoft Azure, experience with Apigee Hybrid, APIOps, API testing, OWASP API Security, cloud observability tools, AWS integration services, or enterprise migration programs are considered strong advantages.
