Roles & Responsibilities:
- Serve as the technical point of contact for your accounts and account managers.Â
- Develop a deep understanding of customers’ goals and objectives, and articulate how PDL products and solutions provide value.
- Create and own value-based relationships at all levels in customer/prospect organizations.
- Help coordinate data tests and assist our Sales Team with using our testing tools.
- Support ad-hoc data analysis and explain test results to customers.
- Create collateral, contribute to programs, and collaborate with your PDL colleagues to meet individual client needs.
- Be the ears of the sales organization to communicate needs, gaps, and enhancements to our engineering and leadership teams.
- Drive education of both sales and technical skills by taking advantage of all the professional development opportunities provided by PDL.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Professional Experience with
- Python
- Elasticsearch
- Deep experience working with Big Data
- Ability to read code and digest logic for less technical members of the team and customers.
- Articulate and sell the benefits of data.
- Passion for being curious and a continuous learner.
- History of successful customer relations where you developed an understanding of what made a difference, and devised architectures that helped meet a goal, tackle a problem, or outpace competitors.
- You are a natural at advocating for your customers and derive satisfaction from delivering the best customer experience possible
- ​​Technical ownership over a defined book of business with operational freedom and support to drive customer success and outcomes
- Co-own and collaborate with Customer Success Managers and Data Consultants on each customer’s overall lifecycle, including onboarding, cadence, expansion, and renewal
- Build “trusted advisor” relationships with each of your customers through technical excellence and a high degree of customer empathy. You’ve been a developer or can otherwise deeply identify with the needs of a developer
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Nice to have/Value-Add Experience with
- Data stores like Redshift, Azure, Mongo, etc…
- Advising customers on architecting a tech stack for Big Data
- Calling and interacting with Rest APIs
- Understanding of how the back end of an API works
- Data products
- Linux
- Writing Kibana KQL & ElasticSearch queries
- Writing complex queries
- Cloud experience in AWS
- Logfile exploration tooling (i.e. Kibana, Periscope, Graylog, etc.)
