This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Sr Credit Risk Analyst. In this role, you will leverage your analytical skills to enhance the financial well-being of members by providing critical credit risk insights. Your expertise will transform complex data into actionable information, aiding in decision-making processes. You'll also be a key partner to various teams, ensuring that credit practices meet governance standards and contribute to the design of effective reporting frameworks. Moreover, your leadership in key initiatives will enhance the organization’s risk capabilities, ultimately impacting portfolio performance positively.

Accountabilities

  • Analyze complex data ecosystems by aggregating data from multiple large applications.
  • Transform data into actionable insights by organizing datasets into targeted segments.
  • Lead portfolio risk reporting by designing recurring and ad-hoc reports tracking performance metrics.
  • Validate and investigate processes by collaborating with business units.
  • Deliver deep-dive risk assessments to identify threats and opportunities.
  • Model outcomes and scenarios applying statistical methodologies.
  • Influence risk appetite and strategy in collaboration with Senior Leadership.
  • Support departmental initiatives by guiding key projects.
  • Mentor team members to foster a collaborative environment.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance with federal and state requirements.
  • Maintain and enhance documentation for procedural clarity.
  • Manage essential reporting and operational audit records.
  • Collaborate on member-focused programs to enhance overall experiences.
  • Contribute to department success through additional responsibilities as needed.
  • Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or business field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of related functional experience in credit risk analytics.
  • Advanced experience using quantitative software and database querying tools (e.g., SAS, SQL, Python).
  • Advanced experience with presentation development software (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI, PowerPoint).
  • Advanced degree preferred.
  • Previous experience in the financial services industry is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to build cohesive cross-functional teams.
  • Proven project management experience.
  • Ability to collect data, draw conclusions, and formulate strategic recommendations.
  • Strong independent and team-oriented work skills, using discretion and judgment.
  • Proficient in PC skills (Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, etc.).
