Sr. Data Scientist

• Utilize advanced SQL skills and AI tools to extract manipulate and analyze data from various sources.
• Analyze and interpret complex data sets related to private markets and alternative investments.
• Develop and implement data models and algorithms to uncover insights and trends.
• Create compelling and easy-to-understand data visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and build data-driven products and solutions.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data science finance and technology.
• Work with the Product and Machine Learning teams to develop new strategies for data extraction from unstructured text such as PDF's.

• Proven experience as a Data Scientist with a focus on private markets and alternative investments.
• Strong executive presence with the ability to instill confidence in senior stakeholders and represent the organization with credibility and polish.
• Expertise in SQL and Python.
• An understanding of performance measurement for private market investments including drawdown funds hedge funds private debt direct investments in private companies and other illiquid assets.
• Experience working with large and complex datasets.
• Strong skills in data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau Power BI D3.js) and techniques.
• Excellent writing skills with the ability to create clear and concise reports and documentation.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Solid understanding of statistical analysis machine learning and predictive modeling.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science Finance Economics Computer Science or a related field.

• Experience with AWS Snowflake Postgres and MySQL.
• Familiarity with financial modeling and investment analysis.
• Experience building and launching B2B products.
• Experience building products with LLMs and using AI agents to automate processes.
• Experience working with Data Engineering teams to clean and productionize data pipelines.
• An understanding of fund accounting and forecasting models.
• Experience working in family office institutional investor or PE/VC environment.
