Job Description
LendingTree is looking for a data-driven Head of SEM who is comfortable under pressure and is flexible in a constantly evolving environment. We learn quickly and we react quickly. The ideal candidate has strong paid search knowledge and campaign management experience. They have experience setting direction for an SEM team and are able to actualize that strategy through their own work and by leading others.
Responsibilities- Develop, implement and monitor strategy to drive paid search performance across multiple lines of business and to ensure the channel is hitting its targets.
- Drive decision strategy about where we spend.
- Champion the transition to media mix modeling and multi-touch attribution as part of the integrated marketing strategy
- Mentor team for ongoing account optimization, including structure & targeting improvements, keyword expansion, negative keywords, and improvement of bid management processes.
- Identify inefficient or repetitive tasks and work with the team to strategize how automation could help.
- Collaborate with business partners to optimize the consumer experience and conversion funnels.
- Conduct competitive analysis, prepare reports on findings, and share the results with others.
- Work closely with vendors such as Google and Bing to ensure appropriate support and to keep us at the forefront of product releases and new available features.
- Motivating leader who will mentor, cross-train and unite the teams.
- Previous experience with leading multi-level teams of 10+ employees and responsible for large budgets
- Sets direction, gains alignment, and inspires others to create and implement new ideas to achieve results
- Champions creative disruption without sacrificing results
- Recruits and hires top talent, ensuring diverse representation, equitable opportunities and an inclusive environment
- Proven experience executing and optimizing direct response campaigns through keyword footprint, bidding, experience testing, and targeting
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. Leverage data to make business decisions
- Advanced knowledge of Excel. SQL skills a plus.
