Senior IT Operations Engineer
A Senior IT Operations Engineer helps each employee at Pluralsight realize their potential with the technology available. On a day-to-day basis, a Senior IT Operations Engineer will deploy a new OS version to run new vendor hardware enrollment or a myriad of things between the two. A Senior IT Operations Engineer will also provide mentoring and training to IT Helpdesk, IT Service Engineers, and new Team Members. Our goal is to ensure that our technologies work in harmony with each employee, whether that's an intern, full-time employee, contractor, or high-level executive. We tutor or explain, the current technologies in our environment, and help to marry that to expectations.

What you'll own:

• MDM Solution, currently VMware Workspace One Solution
• MDM inventory and management, adhering to business policies
• Solving of devices, hardware, and software deployments
• Package and deploy OS Versions, Updates, Patches, and Security compliance configurations.
• Buildout of Business approved application list for deployment across Mac, Windows, and Linux Systems
• Lead and Strengthen Integration with industry application like Okta, ServiceNow, Productive, Workday and others.
• Providing Input into process improvements and procedures to make the Operations Team more efficient
• Training of new and less experienced team members

Experience you'll need:

• 3-5 Years Design, deploy, integrate, and maintain Mobile Device Management (MDM) with Workspace One (JAMF, Mosyle, Kandji, other Optional)
• Experience in scripting with PowerShell, Python, other languages supporting deployment of solutions.
• Work with the Apple Device Enrollment Program (DEP) to deliver mobile device provisioning, deployment, and support.
• Provide guidance on standard methodologies surrounding mobile device management.
• Supervise and control mobile devices and provide with metrics that illuminate efficiencies or opportunities for growth.
• An ability to solve root cause of issues
• A detail oriented and logical approach to resolving problems
• Good communication skills to efficiently connect with co-workers & document solutions
• Experience training and mentoring other support engineers
• 3-4 Years proven ability providing IT Support in a mixed Mac and Windows environment
