What's Your Impact?

Senior IT Oracle HCM Developers are responsible for development, programming, coding of Information Technology solutions supporting the HR and Payroll systems. Senior IT Oracle HCM Developers are responsible for documenting detailed system specifications, participation in unit testing and maintenance of planned and unplanned internally developed applications, evaluation, and performance testing of purchased products. Senior IT Oracle HCM Developers are responsible for including IT Controls to protect the confidentiality, integrity, as well as availability of the application and data processed or output by the application. Senior IT Oracle HCM Developers lead efforts, oversee work results, provide training, and serve as a technical resource for other Developers.

What You'll be Doing?

  • Write code for complex HR and Payroll system designs, spanning platforms.
  • Code to and/or create Application Programming Interfaces (APIs).
  • Review and update code developed by other developers.
  • Provide input to and drive programming standards.
  • Write detailed technical specifications for entire systems.
  • Review technical specs created by other developers.
  • Ensure sufficient quality and compliance of documentation to architectural standards.
  • Report missing elements found in system and functional requirements and explain impacts on subsystem to team members.
  • Consult with other Developers, Business Analysts, Systems Analysts and Project Managers.
  • "Scope" time, resources, etc. required to complete programming projects. Seek review from other Developers, Business Analysts, Systems Analysts or Project Managers on estimates.
  • Incorporate other Developer's scope information into own scope document (for integration points)
  • Provide SME input on compliance of products to architectural standards and impacts to IT environment.
  • Perform unit testing and debugging.
  • Set test conditions based upon code specifications.
  • Able to debug most program errors (simple to complex). May seek assistance from vendors to debug complex errors.
  • Support transition of application throughout the Product Development life cycle.
  • Often requires more coordination points for transitioning systems.
  • Document what must be migrated/file properties.
  • Work on integration issues and determines the integration approach.
  • Coordinate with other areas for integration architecture solutions
  • Assist technical team with defining configuration for installing products.
  • May load database for testing, especially if there are multiple tables.
  • Act as a technical mentor to other team member and as a technical lead on projects as assigned.

What is Required?

  • 5+ years related work experience developing, programming, coding of Information Technology solutions.
  • Related Bachelor's degree or additional related equivalent work experience IT related field
  • Experience in Oracle HCM development.
  • Experience and understanding with unit testing, release procedures, coding design and documentation protocol as well as change management procedures.
  • Proficiency using versioning and debugging tools
  • In-depth understanding of the systems development life cycle.
  • Experience mentoring or leading other development staff.

What is Preferred?

  • Proficiency with Oracle HCM Cloud Application integration tools, including Oracle Business Intelligence, Reporting & Analytics, Fast Formulas, HDL, Data Mover, HCM Extract, BIP and OIC.
  • Working functional knowledge of Oracle Cloud modules - Core HR, Benefits, Compensation, Payroll, Time and Labor.
  • Working knowledge of Peoplesoft HCM (Examples: People Code, SQR, Application Engine, SQL, Benefits, Core HR, and UNIX).
  • Experience in Healthcare, Insurance or Florida Blue.

General Physical Demands:

Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally to move objects. Jobs are sedentary if traversing activities are required only occasionally.

To support your financial wellbeing, we offer competitive pay as well as opportunities for incentive or commission compensation. We also conduct regular annual reviews with pay for performance considerations for base pay increases.

Typical Annualized Hiring Range: $102,000 - $127,500

Annualized Salary Range: $102,000 - $165,800

Final pay will be determined with consideration of market competitiveness, internal equity, and the job-related knowledge, skills, training, and experience you bring.
