- Clear creative content for copyrights, trademarks, rights of publicity, and privacy. Review and negotiate related IP releases
- Provide concise, contextually nuanced, and actionable feedback to stakeholders where needed or based on guidelines
- Maintain knowledge resources, develop marketing best practices, and process improvements
- Coordinate cross-functional feedback for marketing requests between teams, including Marketing, Legal, Product, and other business partners
- Create and manage resource materials for Legal and Marketing teams
- Provide reporting on marketing requests, including volume received and time to execute
- Prepare, review, draft, and negotiate simple agreements with limited attorney supervision, including co-promotion/co-marketing, confidentiality, and other agreements
- Collaborate with and build strong relationships with key stakeholders
- Assist with the execution of a wide range of day-to-day legal contracts typical of a biotech or life-sciences company including confidentiality agreements, master service agreements, work orders, and other vendor and general business contracts
- Communicate effectively within and across the organization as well as with external business contacts
- Model Twist’s core values: Grit, Impact, Service, and Trust
What You’ll Bring to the Team
- Bachelor's Degree required; Paralegal Certification preferred
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a marketing and/or contracts paralegal, supporting contractual needs of research, manufacturing, and/or commercial groups, preferably in the life sciences/biotechnology industry
- Experience with IP releases and clearing creative content

- Familiarity with contract lifecycle management systems
- Strong attention to detail and interpersonal skills with an emphasis on written and verbal communication
- Ability to clearly express oneself verbally and in writing with all employees and other business contacts in a courteous and professional manner
- Fluent user of Microsoft Office application suite (e.g., Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and equivalents (e.g., Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Google Drive), with proficiency in Adobe Acrobat, DocuSign, and other common office software tools
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving startup environment
