Team: Product

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Sr. Technical Product Owner – SAP Order to Cash & Commerce Cloud – Strategy & Management in the United States.

This senior-level role offers the opportunity to lead and shape the strategic vision for SAP Order to Cash (SD) and Commerce Cloud initiatives within a complex enterprise environment. You will act as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams, driving the product roadmap, backlog prioritization, and solution integrity for integrated e-commerce and order management capabilities. The position combines strategic thinking, deep technical expertise, and hands-on leadership, providing influence across multiple departments, including Finance, Operations, and Compliance. Success in this role requires balancing near-term delivery objectives with long-term platform scalability, compliance, and alignment to enterprise strategy. This is ideal for someone motivated to make high-impact decisions, mentor teams, and champion operational excellence in a fast-paced, technology-driven organization.

Accountabilities:

  • Define, communicate, and execute the end-to-end product vision and technical strategy for SAP SD and Commerce Cloud, covering sales order management, pricing, billing, and customer experience.

  • Guide configuration and solution design decisions that align SAP standard capabilities with evolving business needs.

  • Collaborate with Finance, Operations, and Compliance teams to ensure process and data integrity across the value chain.

  • Prioritize technical backlogs, including non-functional requirements, platform maintenance, and technical debt, in partnership with other product owners.

  • Translate complex business objectives into actionable technical requirements and align delivery across cross-functional teams.

  • Serve as a bridge between business and technical teams, ensuring clear functional and technical specifications.

  • Provide architectural guidance and make high-level decisions regarding infrastructure, custom development, and SAP system feasibility.

  • Mentor product owners and development teams to foster alignment, collaboration, and delivery quality.

  • Lead readiness efforts across Sales, Operations, and Finance, and manage escalations for complex production issues with root cause analysis and remediation planning.

  • Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

    • 10+ years of hands-on experience with SAP Order to Cash, including 5+ years with S/4HANA.

    • Deep functional and technical expertise in SAP SD areas: sales order management, pricing/taxation, contracts, billing, returns, credit/debit processing, delivery scheduling, ATP, intercompany/third-party scenarios, MTO/STO, logistics execution, and EDI/IDoc processing.

    • Strong knowledge of SAP SD and Commerce Cloud integrations, ensuring reliable orchestration of order capture, pricing, availability, and customer data across platforms.

    • Broad experience integrating SAP modules, including EDI, IDocs, and cross-functional workflows.

    • Preferred experience in pharmaceutical distribution, life sciences, or regulated industries.

    • Familiarity with SAP SD integrations with PTP, FICO, Vistex, and EWM is a plus.

    • Prior experience supporting large-scale implementations, migrations, or enterprise transformation programs.

    • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts in business terms.

    • Ability to mentor teams and champion continuous improvement and standardization practices.

    • Benefits:

      • Competitive annual salary: USD $115,600 – $192,600, with eligibility for annual bonus plans.

      • Comprehensive health benefits including medical, vision, dental, well-being, and behavioral health programs starting on day one.

      • 401(k) plan with company contributions.

      • Tuition reimbursement and professional development support.

      • Paid time off: minimum 18 days/year, plus paid holidays.

      • Flexible work arrangements, with remote work options supported by robust connectivity requirements.

      • Opportunities to work in a fast-paced, mission-driven technology organization with focus on career growth and operational impact.
