Sr. Director, R&D Programs

What You'll Do

• Identify and capture R&D funded opportunities (i.e., OTAs, BAAs, and SBIRs) to bring in R&D funding to support the development of innovative ideas and solutions. (Lead Special Ops Squad)
• Responsible for leading the rapid prototyping of new ideas and solutions in AI/ML, Web 3.0/Synthetic Environments, Blockchain, and Neurotech
• Collaborate with Growth team to review opportunities aligned to R&D services and solutions
• Support client interface and delivery on R&D funded opportunities
• Build teams to deliver R&D funded opportunities
• Collaborate with the Chief Innovation Officer, Chief Executive Officer, and other key stakeholders to identify emerging technologies and market opportunities
• Develop and manage a portfolio of innovative ideas and solutions that can be prototyped and tested rapidly
• Work closely with the R&D and Product teams to ensure that innovative ideas and solutions can be brought to market quickly and efficiently
• Work with Product/Solution to graduate R&D solution into marketable I.
• Establish and manage vendor partnerships to support R&D programs

What You'll Need to Succeed

• 20+ years of technical leadership with an emphasis on emerging technology adoption and management consulting
• 5+ years experience leading agile teams
• 5+ years experience generating leading edge growth opportunities within the public sector
• Experience leading large (20+) integrated, multi-disciplinary teams executing rapid prototyping initiatives
• Bachelor's degree
