Job Description
We’re looking for a technical Senior UX Designer or Senior Product Designer to join our team at Celigo. Please apply as your title will be based on experience. We want you to be excited about solving complex technical problems and about pushing the boundaries of what UX can be, helping us evolve our user experience and research and optimize our process. Help us design the future of data integration to enable customers to make well-informed business decisions.
You’ll have the opportunity to help improve our UI by leveraging all sorts of qualitative and quantitative data, including analytics, user videos, user interviews, usability tests, database queries, support tickets, surveys, and more.
You’ll join a fun and supportive Experience Strategy & Design team, where we’ve merged the concepts of UX and content strategy under one umbrella. Our customers have responded to our dedication, ranking us among the best IT cloud management software in 2022!
You can UX with us from anywhere in the US! Even before the pandemic, our team was remote, so we have a supportive remote culture where we celebrate successes and build strong relationships despite being distributed. We also have an office location in San Mateo, CA.
What would you do, if hired?
- Deliver feature mockups that can be easily translated into code.
- Map feature flows and customer journeys.
- Work in an agile environment and juggle multiple projects, while still meeting deadlines.
- Work with remote team members and communicate often. We’re very chatty on Slack!
- Help us maintain product quality by identifying and working continuous UX improvements.
- Collaborate and iterate in real-time with diverse stakeholders, and take critiques in stride.
- Conduct research, including competitive analyses, user interviews, walkthroughs, surveys, usability tests and other methodologies.
- Help us define and implement our UX research and metrics strategy.
- Coach and mentor designers on UX best practices.
- Build empathy for our customers and internal teams to understand their needs, pain points, and goals.
- Apply design principles to guide decision-making.
- Continue helping us craft a flexible design system.
- Deal with technical features and uncover use cases.
Who are we looking for?
- You have 5+ years of relevant technical product design experience at B2B/B2C companies.
- You’re comfortable working at all levels of UX, translating feature requirements into mocks, use case flows, interactive prototypes, research, collaborating with stakeholders, and product strategy.
- You’re proficient with a design prototyping tool (ex: Figma, Axure, Creative Suite).
- You have at least a bachelor’s degree in design, UX/HCI, or other related fields. Related master’s degrees are strongly preferred.
- You have a portfolio.

Pay Scale Information
Celigo reasonably expects to pay a base salary between $120,000 per year and $140,000 per year for this position. Actual starting base pay will be determined by skills, experience, geographic location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. Total compensation may also include variable incentives, benefits, or other perks as outlined in any formal employment offer made.
