Job Description
STR is hiring aβ―Sr. SIEM Cybersecurity Analyst to join the Enterprise Cybersecurity Team. This role will be responsible for constant improvement of our SIEM through tuning, writing correlation rules, and making recommendations to improve detections. In addition, they will help provide day to day operations support, problem resolution, and project assistance.
β―You will join a small but growing cybersecurity team focused on protecting STR and customer information. Requirements
- U.S. Citizen with eligibility for a US Secret clearance
- 3+ years' work experience in SIEM
- Demonstrated analytical skills
- Experience creating reports and dashboards in a SIEM tool
- Experience with creating reports and prioritizing remediations in a vulnerability management tool
- Experience analyzing logs during investigations of security incidents
- Ability to evaluate the STR environment and make security recommendations
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 security tools
Any of these skills are even better:
- Degree in related discipline or equivalent
- Relevant certifications such as Security+, SC-200, CISSP
- Experience with KQL language
- Experience with MITRE ATT&CK framework and/or Cyber Kill Chain
- Experience in Systems/Network Administration
- Experience in vulnerability management
- Experience with Microsoft GCC High
- Strong technical background with a variety of information security systems and tools
- Experience with Linux, Mac, and Windows Operating Systems
- Comfortable conducting independent research of issues, working with end users and IT for investigations, and providing guidance on next steps
