Role Summary

We are seeking a Total Rewards Analyst to join the Apogee People team.  This newly created position will be a key member in supporting Apogee’s total rewards philosophy, policies, practices, and programs to attract and retain top talent.  You will partner and collaborate with other members of the People team to ensure Total Reward programs are competitive, compliant, and aligned with the company’s overall strategy and goals.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development and execution of the total rewards strategy through data-driven analysis, program design, and implementation
  • Assist with the annual performance and compensation review processes
  • Complete, maintain and submit industry total reward surveys
  • Coordinate day-to-day administration of benefit programs including reviewing/approving invoices, COBRA administration, HSA funding, and ACA monitoring
  • Resolve escalated benefits issues for employees by interpreting benefit plan documents and policies to answer coverage questions
  • Maintain and post Summary Plan Descriptions, SMMs and other required notices timely and keep the compliance calendar up-to-date
  • Assist with the development and maintenance of employee benefits communication materials including plan documents, employee notices and open enrollment
  • Administer reward and recognition program
  • Collaborate with the People Team to create custom or advanced reports and dashboards to track and analyze key performance indicators
  • Partner with payroll to review biweekly payroll and ensure employee data is kept up to date in ADP

Ideal Candidate

  • A Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years’ experience in Human Resources and/or human capital management
  • Advanced Excel skills, pivot tables, and complex functions
  • Ability to create dynamic tools and models to interpret and analyze data
  • Proficient with compensation & benefits research and data analysis
  • Experience in a high-growth and/or start-up biotech company strongly preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with employees at all levels
  • Excellent communication skills with an ability to engage with variety of stakeholders and tailor message accordingly
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, critical thinker
  • Able to navigate ambiguity and has a high sense of urgency
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with aggressive timelines and changing priorities

  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 15% (approximately 6-10 times per year for company meetings)

The anticipated salary range for candidates for this role will be $105,000-$120,000 / year. The final salary offered will depend on several factors, which may include, but is not limited to relevant years of experience, educational background, and geography.
