Job Description

The Sr. Treasury Analyst โ€“ Treasury is responsible for supporting the day-to-day cash positioning of the company, including the timely and accurate accounting, managing and reporting of cash balances and movements in our various accounts. In addition this position will support the creation of our liquidity forecast and other project activities.

The Sr. Treasury Analyst reports directly to the Director, Treasury and has contact with various departments/areas, Investment Managers, Third Party Administrators and Banks.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare value-added analysis to support Treasury & Finance decision making in support of liquidity, debt, capital and bank & broker dealer relationships.
  • Support day-to-day cash positioning of the company, including timely and accurate accounting, management and reporting of cash balances and movements in our various accounts and management of our daily cash position.
  • Support forecast efforts interacting with many different levels of management.
  • Maintain intensive and detailed Excel spreadsheets in support of Treasury Operations, must be able to review and debug complicated formulas to ensure accurate results.
  • Assist in design and change for our Treasury Workstation, FIS Integrity.
  • Identify and propose process improvements.
  • Support and enhance the systems used by the Treasury team including the treasury Workstation.
  • Provide financial modeling, financial analysis and other ad-hoc financial projects.

Experience and Education Requirements

  • Bachelorโ€™s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 3-5 years related professional experience in financial analysis required
  • Experience with automated Treasury Workstations, FIS Integrity (in particular) is highly desired

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Knowledge of short-term money markets
  • Superior analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and the utilization of complex formulas such as SUMPRODUCT, INDEX/MATCH and SUMIFS.
  • Strong communication, organization and interpersonal skills necessary to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others
  • A passion for new challenges, leadership and delivering results
  • Strong intuitive and analytical skills
  • Ability to handle multiple complex tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to think ahead and conduct strategic planning
  • Expertise and experience of improving processes and utilizing technology to improve efficiencies
  • Self-directed individual who works well with teams
  • Gathers, interprets, and uses data to develop actionable steps to improve performance and optimize results.
  • Project management experience a plus

  • Perform other functions, duties and projects as assigned
  • Regular and punctual attendance
  • Minimal travel required (less than 10%)
