About the Role:
The cybersecurity market is ripe for innovation. At CrowdStrike, the ecommerce product group is on a mission to reinvent the way cybersecurity technologies are bought and sold, and expand our reach to businesses, consumers, and the security ecosystem. We are specifically focused on building and continuing to optimize an innovative end-to-end commerce experience for users and app sellers (partners). This product group has undergone a significant amount of growth since our launch, becoming one of the most exciting teams within the broader organization.
As we continue to develop and improve the experience of our product, we are looking for an innovative and highly motivated Senior UX Designer.
In this role, you will lead work together with the product group to execute the vision, definition, and delivery of CrowdStrike's global ecommerce experience. You will collaborate with the team and stakeholders throughout our division to transform business requirements with aggressive goals into a world-class digital experience for our customers. The ideal candidate for this position will be customer-obsessed and passionate about human-centered design, with high motor accountability, eagerness to learn and someone who enjoys working side-by-side with product management and technical innovators.
What You'll Do:
  • Create and execute a UX strategy to deliver delightful and innovative user experiences.
  • Drive UX deliverables by removing obstacles, steering alignment, scheduling design reviews, and communicating product/team status.
  • Execute with innovation, risk-taking, and empowerment.
  • Operationalize UX standard work and deliverables by development phase.
  • Mentor team by modeling best practices and providing 1:1 coaching.
  • Engage with product management and stakeholders to gather requirements, research best practices, and perform competitive analysis to deliver the initiative scope.
  • Participate in team activities, such as quarterly roadmap planning, to prioritize initiatives and balance the availability of team members to do the work with business objectives that need to be met.
  • Maintain alignment to the roadmap.
  • Participate in hiring and developing the best talent to support the expansion of the UX organization.
  • Build research processes and capabilities as part of standard work operations.
  • Communicate and socialize design objectives and principles to the broader team.
  • Facilitate effective UX reviews and alignment meetings with senior leaders, business partners, and stakeholders.
  • Own persona development, testing and ongoing assessment.
  • Help build presentations, lead discussions, and facilitate synthesis workshops for different stakeholders focused on results and actionable next steps.
  • Collaborate with other UX managers and senior ICs across all product groups to create and evolve shared standards, tools and processes used by UX teams at CrowdStrike.

What You'll Need:
  • 8+ years proven success leading UX teams with demonstrated impact.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating past work experience and deliverables.
  • End-to-end experience with UX design (research and analysis, concept creation, story, and journey mapping, wireframing and UI design).
  • Large site ecommerce and/or SAAS experience.
  • Excellent teaming skills ability to take direction and feedback.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, preparation, and analytical skills; the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly across different audiences and varying levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated experience within a fast-paced, deadline and results focused environment where abilities to multi-task, be highly flexible, and influence high standards within and across teams is essential.
  • A positive bar raiser approach and can-do attitude.
  • Proficiency to sketch, wireframe, prototype in Figma is mandatory.
  • Significant experience guiding and executing UX research activities including user interviews, user database build and usability studies -In-depth knowledge about the appropriate method for different problems.
  • Established experience with leading accessibly standards across a design team.
  • Have a pragmatic approach and balance between research, test, and execution.
  • Expertise in product and web development.
  • Experience in project management and work prioritization in a design environment.
  • Remote work experience is a bonus.

CrowdStrike, Inc. is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this position in the U.S. is $105,000 - $195,000 per year + bonus + equity + benefits. A candidate's salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location.
