Lucid is seeking a dynamic and high performing Staff Accountant to join the Accounting team. Our team plays a critical role in ensuring optimal financial management and efficient operations across Lucid. We also partner, cross-functionally, to appropriately allocate resources, inform key business decisions, and facilitate the execution of operational plans.
Responsibilities:
- Generate weekly bill payments and international payroll funding
- Become the subject matter expert on all-things-cash outflows
- Create monthly and quarterly (short-term) cash forecast
- Produce monthly and quarterly cash report
- Collaborate closely with finance to continuously improve short-term cash forecasting and reporting for cash management and cash needs
- Run customer onboarding program
- Prepare journal entries and reconciliations
- Perform month-end close tasks
- Assist in the preparation for quarterly reviews and annual audit
Requirements:
- 1-2 years experience as a Staff Accountant or similar position
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated with ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities
- Collaborate well with other members of the Accounting team and other departments
- Possess strong problem solving skills
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and a self-starter with passion for taking ownership
- Ability to work independently, with little direction
- Motivation for excellence and exceeding expectations
- Passionate about teamwork with an optimistic outlook
- Thrive in a fast-paced, growth environment
- Ability to drive change
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Accounting
- CPA license
- Public accounting experience
- NetSuite experience
