About the Team:
The Accounting team at Relativity spans tax and compliance financial operations general ledger and business data strategy. While each group brings unique insights they are united by a shared goal of protecting the financial integrity of Relativity while also enabling smarter faster decisions to help the company scale. You’ll collaborate deeply with teams across the business ask the right questions and become a trusted partner not just a processor. With a focus on enabling growth you’ll bring both structure and creativity to a highly dynamic environment.
About the Role:
- Prepare general ledger journal entries for month-end close
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations including identifying and resolving variances
- Prepare explanations for monthly flux analyses • Assist in preparation of monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements
- Assist in year-end audit by providing external auditors with supporting documentation
- Assist in developing internal process improvements including documenting processes
About You:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 1-3 years of relevant accounting experience from public accounting or private industry sectors (both a plus!)
- Strong understanding and knowledge of US GAAP • Advanced Excel skills (V-Lookups Pivot Tables etc.)
- Ability to prioritize and multitask to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Nice to haves but not required:
- Big 4 / regional firm audit / assurance experience (strongly preferred)
- Certified Public Accounting (CPA) active or inactive
- Hands-on experience in the financial close process
- Fast-growing start-ups and/or manufacturing industry experience
