This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Staff Engineer, ServiceNow (HAM) based in India.
This role is a senior technical position focused on designing, building, and optimizing enterprise-scale ServiceNow solutions with a strong emphasis on Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and broader IT Asset Management practices. You will play a key role in shaping integrated, scalable, and efficient ServiceNow ecosystems across global environments. The position combines hands-on engineering with architectural thinking, requiring deep expertise in platform configuration, scripting, and integrations. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions. The role offers exposure to complex global delivery environments and enterprise transformation initiatives. It is ideal for an experienced ServiceNow professional who enjoys solving challenging problems while driving platform excellence and governance.
Accountabilities:
Lead the design, development, and implementation of ServiceNow solutions with a focus on HAM, ITAM, SAM, and ITSM modules across global environments.
- Build and maintain ServiceNow integrations, ensuring seamless connectivity with external systems and enterprise platforms.
- Configure and customize ServiceNow applications using Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, Jelly scripting, and AngularJS.
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical designs aligned with ServiceNow best practices and governance standards.
- Perform integration testing, troubleshoot platform issues, and ensure high-quality, stable solution delivery.
- Collaborate with global stakeholders and cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end ServiceNow implementations.
- Contribute to design reviews, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives across the platform.
- Provide technical leadership in ServiceNow Asset Management processes and implementation strategies.
- Strong expertise in ServiceNow HAM, ITAM, SAM, ITSM, and exposure to ITOM or CSM modules.
- Mandatory ServiceNow SPM certification with solid understanding of ITIL frameworks.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing ServiceNow integrations and enterprise solutions.
- Strong hands-on scripting skills including Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, Jelly scripting, and AngularJS.
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into structured, scalable technical solutions.
- Experience working in global delivery environments with distributed stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills in complex platform environments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with a collaborative mindset.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with 5.5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow experience.
