As part of Lookout's Engineering team, you will have an opportunity to take on some of the most interesting challenges in one or more core areas of intellectual property and fundamental building blocks that form Lookout's category-defining security products. Responsibilities:

• Responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing lightweight and secure client applications for traffic steering
• Own and drive all aspects of the software development cycle in collaboration with the product team
• Be responsible for the quality of the deliverables through automated tests and cross-team collaborations
• Influencing the features and direction of the product and platform with your own ideas
• Work with the Customer Support team in troubleshooting and fixing customer issues and identifying product gaps
• Take an active role in mentoring junior developers

Requirements:

• Strong software engineering fundamentals including object oriented design, data structures, and algorithms
• A quality-oriented mindset with a strong commitment to automated testing, metrics collection, monitoring, and continuous improvement in all work
• Design and build moderate applications for the MacOS/iOS platform
• 8+ years of experience of software development experience, of which a minimum of 5 years of experience building apps on macOS/iOS
• Understanding of network & security protocols (TCP, UDP, IP, HTTP, DHCP/DNS, TLS, Active Directory/LDAP, SSO/SAML/Oauth)
• Swift, Objective C, and core data expertise.
• Good troubleshooting skills and usage of tools like XCode IDE, Instruments
• Degree in Computer/Electronics/Electrical Engineering 

Nice to have:

• Working experience with VPN technologies specifically in IPSec/IKEv2 is a plus
• Working experience with cryptography and PKI
• Demonstrable experience in building highly scalable, performant, and low-latency systems
