Stainless Steel TIG Welder/Fabricator

Water Studio (http://wstudio.com/) is a leading design, fabrication, and installation firm specializing in contemporary water features and sculptures. We are currently seeking an exceptional TIG Welder/Fabricator to join our growing team. This is a full-time position offering health benefits and a great opportunity for growth. RESPONSIBILITIES • TIG welding of stainless steel and other metals. • General metal surface preparation and finishing. • Copper pipe soldering and stainless steel pipe/tube welding in shop or at site. • Assist with misc. fabrication, mockup, and testing of water features in shop. • Assist with on-site assembly and installation of water features. • Assist with general shop planning and organization. QUALIFICATIONS • Minimum 2 years experience in related field. • Proficient in TIG welding of stainless steel. • Experience with general metal fabrication and finishing. • Proficient in using various hand and power tools. • Must be able to read and understand shop drawings. • Must have a clean driving record with a valid CA driver's license. • Must be able to work in our shop in Culver City. • Able to manage multiple tasks on a consistent basis. • Excellent communication skills.
