Team: Account Executive
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Strategic Account Executive based in Canada.
This role offers the opportunity to drive enterprise growth by building strategic partnerships with leading organizations across the Canadian market.
You will own complex sales cycles, develop account strategies, and help shape the future of a growing technology solution within the assurance and audit industry.
The position combines consultative selling, executive relationship management, and market development in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions that address customer challenges and create measurable business value.

Accountabilities:
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to expand market presence and generate new business opportunities across Canada.
- Own the complete enterprise sales cycle, from prospecting and qualification through negotiation, closing, and account growth.
- Manage a targeted portfolio of strategic accounts, building strong relationships with senior decision-makers and key stakeholders.
- Drive revenue growth by consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets and performance objectives.
- Build trusted advisor relationships with executives by understanding business priorities, operational challenges, and strategic goals.
- Lead complex, multi-stakeholder sales processes involving technical teams, business leaders, and end users.
- Deliver compelling executive presentations, product demonstrations, and solution discussions tailored to customer needs.
- Coordinate cross-functional collaboration with Solutions, Finance, Product, Marketing, and other teams to ensure successful customer outcomes.
- Develop market insights, sales strategies, and best practices to improve enterprise sales processes and international growth initiatives.
- Represent the organization at industry conferences, networking events, and strategic customer engagements.
- Support the creation of scalable sales playbooks and contribute learnings to strengthen go-to-market strategies.
- Travel up to 30% as required to support customer relationships and business development activities.
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise sales, account executive roles, or strategic business development, with a strong track record of exceeding sales quotas.
- Proven experience selling complex software solutions to enterprise customers and managing high-value strategic accounts.
- Previous experience working with or selling to audit, advisory, assurance, cybersecurity, privacy, or related professional services organizations.
- Strong executive presence with the ability to influence and build relationships with senior-level stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of the Canadian market, including business culture, customer buying behaviors, and competitive dynamics.
- Experience managing complex, multi-threaded sales processes involving multiple stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Ability to independently manage full sales cycles, from initial outreach through contract negotiation and close.
- Strong strategic thinking skills with the ability to balance global sales objectives with local market execution.
- Excellent collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
