POSITION SUMMARY:Monitor and stay up to date on healthcare, government policy, and industry trends to identify new target markets, new buyers, or new product offerings Build a deep strategic understanding of the competitive landscape, and establish programs to monitor, position effectively, and grow CH business Analyze and synthesize research findings - qualitative and quantitative - to identify key market implications including opportunities for growth and strategic challenges. Leverage analysis to identify actionable growth opportunities. Serve as a key contact for the relevant work and manage internal stakeholders and communications. Conduct rigorous business modeling and summarize risks and opportunities to inform CH business decisions on solutions and assure financial feasibility for CH and value proposition to clients. Develop executive level presentations and materials that illustrate a compelling story about new business opportunities that CH should pursue Utilize insights to develop forward-looking analysis to evaluate CHS' role in the market and opportunities for program expansion and / or development Support the Client Development team to evaluate new business opportunities and problem solve novel client situations that require new operating models and / or value capture approaches Provides business analysis and pro forma to support new business, including ROI's. Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting key deadlines and deliverables Other duties as assigned or requested Compliance with all applicable Federal, State and Local laws, regulations and rules, and accreditation standards. B.A. required, master's degree preferred N/A 3 - 5 years of experience in either management or strategy consulting Experienced in Quantitative/Qualitative Analytic execution and synthesis Healthcare, payer and/or provider, life sciences experience Experience conducting strategy projects Proficiency in MS Office Suite - Word, PowerPoint, Excel Excellent research and analysis skills Ability to drill down to the root cause of issues and be creative in problem solving Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Ability to work cooperatively with other members of the team and staff, ability to handle frequent interruptions and adapt to changes in workload and work schedule; to set priorities and solve problems; to respond quickly to emergency requests. Strong interpersonal skills to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, clients, and other departments.
Clearway Health is seeking a Strategist to play a pivotal role in supporting the Clearway Health Corporate Strategy team in the evaluation, development, and implementation of new strategic initiatives with a focus on market intelligence and new program growth. This role requires an ability to ask the right questions, seek out information from a variety of sources, and craft seemingly disparate pieces of data into actionable insights to inform Clearway Health strategy.
The Strategist will work on projects across Clearway Health including Client Development and Marketing, Client Services, Operations, Finance and IT. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in informing Clearway Health strategy and setting the direction for transformative initiatives. This includes: 1) identifying organic and inorganic expansion areas to support Clearway Health growth, 2) analyzing industry trends, assessing competitive developments and sizing market opportunities, 3) working on strategic corporate development initiatives, 4) partnering with Clearway Health teams to support market assessments, develop / pressure test business plans and 5) lead select projects either independently or in collaboration with external consultants. She or he will work directly with the Director of Strategy and Program Development, VP and other senior leaders on a daily basis.
