Job Description
Lucid Software is a leader in visual collaboration, helping teams see and build the future from idea to reality. With our products—Lucidchart, Lucidspark and Lucidscale—teams can align around a shared vision, clarify complexity, and collaborate visually, no matter where they're located. Our products, business and workplace culture have received numerous global and regional recognitions, such as being included on the Forbes Cloud 100 and being named a Fortune Best Workplace in Technology. Lucid is a hybrid, remote-friendly workplace, providing employees the flexibility to work where they are most productive. Our employees embody our four core values of teamwork over ego, innovation in everything we do, individual empowerment, initiative, and ownership, and passion and excellence in every area.Â
The Strategy Associate will play a critical role in the creation and execution of Lucid’s strategy roadmap. We are looking for a dynamic and passionate team player who is a highly capable strategic and analytical thinker, with a track record of working well with others and of taking extreme ownership of their work. Prior experience in Management Consulting is a plus, but not a requirement. This role reports to the Senior Director of Strategy.
Responsibilities:Â
Work directly with Senior Director of Strategy, Chief Product Officer, and other senior leaders
Build business cases for new product and feature opportunities, helping to craft strategy roadmaps for new areas of Lucid’s development
Work on cross functional initiatives to solve Lucid’s most challenging problems, often involving sales and go-to-market strategy
Lead market analysis as it pertains to new opportunities, including market sizing, market maps, and competitor tear downs
Monitor and analyze industry trends, identifying and evaluating opportunities and exploring their alignment with company and product objectives
Be a critical part of helping Lucid achieve its targets for future growth
Requirements:Â
Minimum of 2 years experience working in a high performing, data-driven environment
Excellent verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills
Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and research skills
Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and become an expert on new domains of knowledge
Proven autonomy and ownership Â
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with SaaS companies and markets
Experience working with cross-functional teams
Experience in management consulting or investment banking
