Position Specific Description
Our Integrated Supply Chain Logistics Materials Management Team is looking for a Supply Chain Specialist to join their team in West Palm Beach, FL. Employees in this role conduct complex operational analyses and lead medium to large project teams that support informed decision making within the Business Unit. This role manages the forecasting process which includes the generation of forecast, analysis, adjustments, reporting (using advanced visualization tools) and planning for material needs while coordinating with Business Units to align and optimize supply priorities.
The selected candidate will:• Manage catalog master records including material creation, maintenance of material records including descriptions and part numbers, and conduct material maintenance. • Conduct analyses and prepare reports that provide operation and/or technical support to business operations. • Manage Sarbanes Oxley (Sox) compliance self-assessments, audit, and report on findings.
- Perform complex analysis integrating business knowledge to optimize supply chain process to maintain high service level with product availability.
- Manage ERP setting to efficiently plan for project product availability

Job Overview
Employees in this position order materials and ensure their availability for an assigned business area. This role forecasts and plans for material needs and coordinates material movement. This job initiates, negotiates and contracts spot-buys and manages the relationship with related suppliers.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Executes the materials management process for assigned business units
- Initiates, negotiates and contracts spot-buys and manages relationship with suppliers
- Analyzes responses to routine bid requests, distills commercial differences, and makes succinct recommendations for contract award
- Prepares materials supply agreements containing standard terms and conditions with little or no management oversight
- Conducts routine negotiations successfully under aggressive time demands
- Negotiates and executes purchase orders and resolves invoice discrepancies
- Participates on materials management project teams
- Recommends and communicates materials management strategy, progress and results to ISC management
- Provides market data to support supplier selection, qualification and on-going performance management
- Conducts business dealings with integrity and regard for corporate guidelines, legal and environmental regulations
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- High School Grad / GED
- Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience
- Experience: 2+ years
