Supply Chain Specialist
Job Description
Clean Simple Eats is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Supply Chain Specialist to manage and optimize key aspects of our supply chain operations. This role involves handling purchase orders, SKU setups, supplier relationships, and inbound logistics while also overseeing box and packaging ordering. The ideal candidate will have experience in supply chain management, a proactive mindset, and the ability to collaborate with both internal teams and external partners. This position reports to our Supply Planner.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Purchase Order (PO) Management:
- Place POs with accuracy and efficiency.
- Track the status of open POs and ensure timely follow-ups for any outstanding orders.
- Reconcile and close out POs once orders are fulfilled and perform 3-way match for payment.
- SKU and Product Setup:
- Manage the creation and setup of SKUs for new and existing products.
- Ensure all product data is correctly entered and maintained.
- Collaborate with relevant teams to ensure product information is up-to-date.
- Supplier Relationship Management:
- Act as the primary point of contact for some manufacturers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships to ensure a consistent supply chain.
- Resolve issues, and ensure suppliers meet performance standards.
- Inbound Logistics & Inventory Coordination:
- Coordinate the inbound flow of goods to the warehouse, optimizing for cost and efficiency.
- Monitor and manage delivery schedules to avoid delays.
- Work closely with warehouse and logistics teams to streamline operations.
- Packaging & Box Ordering Management:
- Take ownership of the ordering process for packaging materials and boxes including RFQโs.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels to meet production and shipping needs.
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely replenishment and prevent stockouts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorโs degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in supply chain management, logistics, or procurement.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with a focus on detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
- Proficiency in supply chain software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to optimize supply chain processes.
Salary: $75,000
Location: Remote or Hybrid (for candidates local to the Riverton/Salt Lake City area)
