Collins Aerospace is seeking a dynamic and effective team member in the area of Collins Managed Work Transfers. As a Supply Chain Work Transfer Sr. Analyst for our Power & Controls and Global Operations strategic business units, you will have the opportunity to own and timely execute Work Transfer Gates 3 (qualification of future source) and 4 (validation of rate readiness) for approximately 100 parts across multiple commodities, programs, platforms, and projects. The Work Transfer Sr. Analyst will also be responsible for owning, building, and leveraging the relationship with a varying number of suppliers across our global supply base in support of timely executing said projects.

This is considered to be a highly visible role, which will require the candidate to consistently interface with Senior Leadership and present business progress. This role is intended to offer organizational exposure and is an exciting opportunity for career growth within the Collins businesses.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Ensure use and compliance to COL-PRO-0008-03 (Collins Work Transfer policy)
  • Effectively communicate project status to all levels of the organization through various mediums
  • Build strong collaborative relationships with all internal customers, stakeholders, and project team members
  • Establish project priorities that will mitigate all internal and external customer production impacts, as well as internal financial risks
  • Lead resolution of project setbacks including identifying alternate solutions, internal Collins escalation, interfacing with supplier leadership, etc. to ensure timely execution of projects
  • Serve as the key point of contact for the assigned projects when interfacing with Supply Chain Management Commodity, Quality, Cost and Procurement Execution teams, Business Unit Cost, Engineering and Quality teams, Site Operations, Planning and Delivery Assurance teams, Collins Regional Office teams, and Suppliers
  • Support teleconferences during off-hours (due to time zone differences) with suppliers in key growth regions
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives for the team, as well as timely analysis and development of all RRCA needed to address process integrity
  • Travel Requirement: 5%

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree and 2 years of prior relevant experience OR
  • In absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience is required
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations, Business Administration, Business or related field.
  • Master's degree
  • 3 years of experience in Supply Chain, Engineering, or Manufacturing disciplines or related area with increasing responsibility
  • Project/Program Management experience
  • PMP certification
  • Leadership experience conducting Lean, Kaizen, and other continuous improvement events
  • Process design and governance (standard work)
  • Technical aptitude, i.e. experience with manufacturing, reading and following blueprints and/or technical specifications
  • ERP, SAP preferred
  • Experience with advanced features of Microsoft Excel, i.e. v-lookup, macros, pivot tables, data mining
