Team: Account Executive

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an SVP, Client Sales & Insights - Mid-Market National Team Lead based in the United States.

This executive leadership opportunity is ideal for a commercially driven professional with a passion for building high-performing sales organizations and delivering exceptional client outcomes. In this role, you will lead a national mid-market team, driving revenue growth, strengthening strategic client partnerships, and developing innovative, insight-driven commercial strategies. Working closely with cross-functional experts, you will help clients solve complex business challenges while expanding market opportunities and long-term value. Accountabilities:

  • Lead and develop a high-performing national mid-market sales team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships with clients, serving as a trusted advisor while identifying opportunities to expand partnerships and drive long-term growth.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans, commercial initiatives, and business proposals aligned with client priorities and organizational objectives.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to design integrated solutions that address complex business challenges and deliver measurable client value.
  • Drive revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, increasing market share, negotiating commercial agreements, and expanding existing accounts.
  • Oversee large-scale business performance, including revenue, profitability, forecasting, and achievement of short- and long-term financial objectives.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop team members while promoting strong sales execution, consultative selling, and customer-centric leadership.
  • Leverage industry insights, market trends, and data-driven analysis to guide strategic decision-making and enhance client business performance.
  • Represent the organization with executive presence while effectively communicating business strategies, insights, and value propositions to senior stakeholders.
  • Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree required; an advanced degree is preferred.
    • Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience within Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), retail, brokerage, or related industries.
    • Proven success leading high-performing commercial or client-facing teams with responsibility for significant revenue growth and business performance.
    • Demonstrated experience managing P&L responsibility of $75 million or greater while consistently delivering revenue and profit growth.
    • Strong expertise in consultative selling, strategic account management, and executive-level client engagement.
    • Ability to develop innovative business strategies and architect complex commercial solutions by collaborating with cross-functional teams.
    • Deep understanding of manufacturer and retailer business challenges, including merchandising, category management, marketing, and performance optimization.
    • Excellent leadership, coaching, negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills with a strong executive presence.
    • Strong analytical and business insight capabilities with the ability to translate complex data into actionable recommendations.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment while driving innovation, accountability, and client success.

      • Annual base salary ranging from $300,000 to $330,000, based on experience, qualifications, location, and other business factors.
