The Opportunity
As a Talent Acquisition Intern, you will play an impactful role in helping us hire future team members. Reporting to our Senior Director, Talent, you will work alongside a team of seasoned recruiters with a depth of experience in the technology sector. You will learn what it means to be an effective talent acquisition practitioner who embraces proactive and pragmatic approaches. You will support our team to help ensure Unanet attracts, engages, and hires top talent.
What You'll Do
- Support our team in activating and optimizing our talent acquisition programs, enabling Unanet to source, attract, engage, and hire top talent
- Assist with mindful intake meetings to fully understand business requirements and help inform recruitment strategies
- Support drafting job postings that inspire candidates and accurately represent Unanet's brand, culture, and employee value proposition
- Build momentum in our hiring pipelines by scheduling interviews, gathering and reviewing interview feedback, and communicating directly with hiring teams and job candidates
- Learn the art of sourcing passive candidate pools to build robust talent pipelines
- Gain proficiency in recruitment practices and the human resources programs that influence them (e.g., job architecture, compensation, operations)
- Inspire hiring teams to make talent acquisition a priority in their day-to-day work
- Promote Unanet's referral program, leveraging creative tactics to increase referral quality
- Bring a human touch to the candidate experience, guiding candidates through our talent journey to point of offer or other timely disposition
- Learn and support our candidate selection and offer extension processes
- Assist with pre-onboarding actions for the newest members of Unanet's workforce
What You'll Learn
You will have an action-packed internship experience. At the end of it, you will have learned:
- How a recruiting team operates in the technology sector,
- How to use leading technologies, including an Applicant Tracking System (ATS), and
- How to be a zealous advocate for both Unanet and the candidate, driving an exceptional candidate and new hire experience.
Who You Are
- Currently enrolled undergraduate student, preferably in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or related discipline with a 3.0+ GPA
- Prior internship or work experience, ideally in recruiting, sales or marketing
- Understands the need for confidentiality with respect to sensitive data
- Strong project management skills, with ability to prioritize across multiple hiring needs serving multiple stakeholders
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and remote collaboration skills
- Ability to exercise sound judgment, sensitivity, and creativity to address changing business needs

What to Expect
- We will be conducting interviews beginning in February
- Our intention is to extend an offer for this opportunity by the end of April
- Interns will join the team on June 5 th and conclude their experience on August 11 th
The hourly rate for this internship opportunity is $18.00 per hour.
