We are looking for a Team Lead who can attend to the management and supervisory demands of the Content Review Group (within one or more subject areas), assisting the group manager.

The Role: 

Team Leaders serve as the go-to person of content developers and reviewers.

They lead their team in achieving team SLAs by ensuring that team members are supported, developed, and compliant with prescribed operational standards to foster team unity and boost day-to-day efficiency and productivity.

This role directly reports to Group Manager with content developers/ reviewers on subject-specific areas as direct reports.

You Have Strong Leadership & Performance Management Skills

  1. Be accountable for the team’s performance by achieving team KPI, ensuring the accuracy of metrics, identifying gaps, and recommending solutions.
  2. Develop team members by conducting and documenting monthly coaching/mentoring sessions and recommending and implementing necessary learning interventions.
  3. Lead assigned projects, delegate tasks as necessary, and take lessons to contribute to the team’s success.
  4. Provide timely and appropriate counseling, direction, and resolution for day-to-day work & performance-related concerns or issues of team members. 
  5. Help resolve team conflicts by ensuring feedback is heard and acted upon promptly, informing the manager about disputes, and escalating cases where the manager’s intervention is needed.
  6. Collaborate with other leads or supervisors by ensuring everyone is aligned with updates, team direction, and operations changes.
  7. Facilitate communication by ensuring information is cascaded, create or maintain subject-specific, and implement actions in the team.
  8. Assist in risk management and opportunity identification by conducting issue prevention, identification, and problem-solving initiatives for the team.
  9. Build company culture and values by engaging employees in creating a safe, fun, and positive work environment.
  10. Prepare mid-year and annual appraisal forms, discuss with the manager the results and recommendations before endorsement and approval of the Business Owner, and lead the one-on-one review discussions.

  1. Identify process improvements by evaluating team processes and submitting recommended improvements to the group manager.
  2. Help develop operational standards by creating and maintaining subject-specific best practices, tips, and guidelines.
  3. Assist Group Manager in making decisions on the content review process and rubric calibration and resolution for the team.
  4. Contribute to content development and review tasks when needed.

You Can Manage Resources

  1. Help manage the capacity and productivity of the team by regularly monitoring reports, briefing group managers on metrics, and raising flags promptly.
  2. Ensure that team members meet targets and follow task prioritization guidelines set by PMO and project coordinators. 
  3. Assist in the hiring and screening process by updating, creating, or scoring assessments for content developer/reviewer applicants. 

Are you our next CRG Team Lead? Here are the minimum requirements to qualify.

  • A degree holder BA or MA, PhD
  • Has relevant industry training or certification
  • Has content expertise in one of the subjects (Math, Statistics)
  • Has 1-year experience leading a team in a team lead or supervisory role
  • Has experience in coaching and mentoring teammates and facilitating training sessions.
  • Customer-focused and results-driven 
  • Strong sense of responsibility and outstanding work ethic 
  • Always learning, adaptable
  • Thorough and detail-oriented
  • A team leader and a people manager
  • Comfortable working with computers - experience with Chrome and Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Gmail, Hangouts) is necessary.
