We are looking for a detail oriented, proactive, statistically-minded individual who excels in a fast-paced environment to enhance our customer segmentation and player profiling initiatives. This position will report to the Sr. Director, Game Operations and play a vital role in growing the team responsible for optimizing the way that the Game Operations team manages the different types of members who play our game.

What you’ll do:

  • Work with the Sr. Director, Game Operations - Trading to grow, mentor, and develop the Trading Optimization team
  • Partner with Analytics to develop more optimal trading methods and tools (models, algorithms, rounding, industry benchmarking, etc.)
  • Help set up and maintain standard operating procedures around PrizePicks Trading Optimization tasks
  • Lead the Game Operations - Trading Optimization team by example through complying with all processes and SOPs
  • Help schedule and manage Trading Optimization team resources
  • Assist with reporting requirements as directed by management team
  • First point of contact to resolve escalated issues involving the Trading Optimization team
  • Review and profile new, winning, losing, and escalated members from Game Operations Analysts to profile under one of our member classifications
  • Create new rulesets (limits) and optimize current rulesets for member experience and revenue
  • Identify PrizePicks game vulnerabilities (edges)
  • Identify coordinated member patterns (sharp discords, multi-accounting, etc.)
  • Collaborate with and communicate learnings to Game Operations Analysts

What you have:

  • Attention to detail, verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent time management, reliability, and ability to meet highly important deadlines
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in the sports gaming, player prop, and daily fantasy sports industries
  • Strong pattern recognition and ability to react quickly to observed trends
  • Ability to analyze several streams of information concurrently and make thoughtful decisions in a highly time-sensitive environment
  • Availability to work on nights & weekends (coinciding with sports schedule)
  • Highly proficient with Google Suite or similar software
  • Ability to learn new or updated software
  • Bachelor's degree in related field (statistics, computer science, engineering, analytics, finance, accounting) preferred but not required
  • 2+ years of experience working in Daily Fantasy Sports or Sports Gaming required

Where you’ll live:

  • This is a remote position so anywhere in the U.S is fine.  Occasional travel to our HQ in Atlanta, GA may be required
