Tech Lead - React

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Tech Lead - React based in Brazil.

This is a hands-on technical leadership role focused on guiding engineering teams while delivering high-quality, scalable React-based applications for global enterprise clients. You will act as a bridge between business requirements and technical execution, working directly with stakeholders and clients to translate complex needs into robust digital products. The role combines architecture ownership, team leadership, and active development involvement, ensuring both delivery excellence and engineering best practices. You will operate in a fast-paced, distributed environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams across multiple regions. The position requires strong technical depth in frontend engineering, as well as the ability to mentor engineers and shape delivery standards. Your work will directly influence the quality, scalability, and performance of mission-critical enterprise solutions.

• Lead and mentor a distributed engineering team, providing technical guidance, architectural direction, and hands-on support throughout the development lifecycle.
• Own end-to-end delivery of React-based applications, ensuring successful execution from requirements gathering to deployment and production support.
• Collaborate directly with clients and stakeholders to translate business requirements into clear technical solutions and delivery plans.
• Define and enforce engineering best practices across software development, testing, DevOps, and agile workflows.
• Design scalable, secure, and maintainable system architectures aligned with modern frontend and cloud standards.
• Identify and remove technical or delivery blockers early to ensure smooth project execution and predictable delivery outcomes.
• Provide regular updates to clients and internal leadership, ensuring transparency, alignment, and informed decision-making.

Requirements:

• Strong background as a Senior Software Engineer or Tech Lead with significant experience in React development.
• Proven experience leading engineering teams, either through direct management or technical mentorship in delivery-focused environments.
• Experience working directly with clients or stakeholders to define requirements and guide technical execution.
• Deep understanding of agile methodologies, software engineering best practices, and modern design patterns.
• Strong expertise in testing practices, including test-driven development and automated testing strategies.
• Solid knowledge of Git, version control workflows, and collaborative development practices.
• Familiarity with DevOps principles and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Understanding of system quality attributes including performance, security, monitoring, accessibility, and compliance.
• Strong communication, empathy, and leadership skills with the ability to influence technical decisions.
