Job Title: Technical Accounting Manager

Job Location: 100% Remote

We're looking for a Technical Accounting Manager to join us and expand our Team. Responsibilities and Duties

• Experience with stock-based compensation, convertible debt, and other equity-related transactions
• Experience with SAAS-related customer contract analysis for ASC 606
• Assist in technical accounting research, memo, and accounting policy writing, reviewing and analyzing complex accounting transactions
• Take ownership to collaborate with other groups and/or departments to assess the reporting implications of changes in US GAAP, ensure compliance with new and/or amended standards/interpretations, coordinate changes, and ensure the availability of requisite information for financial reporting
• Ensure financial statements are prepared in accordance with US GAAP and SEC regulations, including newly issued accounting pronouncements
• Continuously update revenue recognition policies and memos factoring in updates to guidance or changes to business process
• Oversee the company’s external financial reports accuracy, such as the 10-K and 10-Q, and other filings with the SEC
• Responsible for accounting standard adoption and implementation of new accounting standards while supporting the company’s long-term technical accounting strategy
• Assist in resolving internal technical accounting issues and assisting with other projects as necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong working knowledge of US GAAP, and SEC regulations
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA or MBA preferred
• Good knowledge & Expertise in ASC 606, ASC 842
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
• Substantial exposure to US GAAP accounting and auditing pronouncements
• Business acquisition experience
• Preparation of the Technical notes for the audit
• Have team handling experience as well as be able to train the team.
• Ready to take additional responsibility like month-end close activities etc.
